Acceptance Guidelines
Don’t worry if your books have simply been well-read. A little dust is fine. We don’t expect all second-hand books to look like new. However, we want to find every book a new home, so the condition of a book does matter, and we cannot accept books with significant damage of any kind.
We cannot accept books with the following problems
- Water damage, moisture damage, or Mold
- Badly stained or yellowing
- Noticeable smells
- Missing or torn pages
- Missing or torn covers (wear to the dust sheet is ok)
- Excessive writing or annotations
- Missing accompanying discs or accessories
- Promo, sample or proof copies
- Counterfeit copies
We are currently not looking for
- Mass-market fiction
- Book Club Editions (such as Reader’s Digest, BCA)
- Dictionaries & Encyclopaedias
- Books without an ISBN
We can accept ex-library books that are in good condition. We also accept books with a little writing, such as signed copies, an owner's name on the inside of the cover or the occasional note or highlighted line.
The acceptance of any books is at our sole discretion.
For an estimate on valuation visit our preferred book comparison site, but please be aware these prices vary considerably and price ranges change inline with demand, condition, and how many copies are available in the global market.
